We have grown a lot in recent years \u2013 opening new learning centres, expanding to Ukraine, Kenya, and Finland, creating elective courses for high schools, and the list goes on. We are no longer just kood\/J\u00f5hvi, so it\u2019s the right time to return to our roots, to the root directory of our system. This means we will adopt the unifying name \/\/kood.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\/\/kood, as the system\u2019s root directory, works like a code repository. It brings together all the principles, tools, methods, and experiences needed to create a new application \u2013 whether that\u2019s a new school, program, format, or partnership.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This gives us the opportunity to expand not only geographically but also conceptually. In this way, kood is no longer tied to a single building or place, but grows like a distributed network. Everything is connected. Everything is built on the same foundation. Yet each application adds something of its own.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From the beginning, \/\/kood has been a bigger idea than a single school. It is a way of learning. An approach based on self-directed learning, community, technology, and teamwork. It is a system whose goal was never to remain tied to one place or one format, but to create a framework that can be successfully replicated \u2013 in Estonia and elsewhere in the world, wherever there is interest, need, and courage to think differently. J\u00f5hvi was the first application. But not the only idea.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Visually, we will move from kood\/J\u00f5hvi\u2019s signature green to \/\/kood\u2019s color scheme, so as not to remain tied to one learning centre. \/\/kood can be viewed as a terminal, with its black canvas providing the possibility to bring all kinds of applications to life. The colors in our system represent collected methods, experiences, formats, ideas, partners, schools, and all our coders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As part of this new chapter, we\u2019re also introducing \/\/kood sonic identity, a sound language born from the coding environment itself. You\u2019ll hear it across our channels as the rhythm of \/\/kood comes alive. Take a look at the full movie: <\/p>\n\n\n\n
