Kaspar shares how this new campus was born out of a desire to bring tech education to smaller towns<\/strong>, proving that innovation doesn\u2019t just happen in big cities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Next, we hear from participants of kood\/Empower<\/strong>, a program designed to inspire more women to take their first steps into coding and explore careers in tech<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Their stories show how different the paths into tech can be:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meeri-Ly<\/strong> joined to discover whether coding \u2014 and \/\/kood\u2019s unique peer-learning model \u2014 were the right fit for her<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cMy goal for kood\/Empower was to understand whether coding would be something for me and whether the learning structure would suit me. For myself, I kind of ticked all of the boxes.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Riita<\/strong>, on the other hand, came with a very different goal: to better understand and collaborate with her IT\/product team while being in business development<\/strong>, gaining valuable insight into how tech professionals work and think.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI wanted to better understand how my IT colleagues work and think. And that actually worked out very well. It gave me a basic understanding of how this world works. Understanding the practicalities of what they do became much clearer. I gained a lot of respect for their job and appreciation\u201d. <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

These stories highlight how short, accessible programs like kood\/Empower can serve many different purposes \u2014 whether it\u2019s exploring a potential career shift or bridging the gap between tech and non-tech roles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meeri-Ly took it a step further and joined the Selection Sprint, the gateway to becoming a full-time kood\/J\u00f5hvi student.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

AI and the future of work: Martti from LHV<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The episode wraps up with Martti Praks<\/strong> from LHV<\/strong>, offering insights into how one of Estonia\u2019s leading banks uses AI in its daily operations \u2014 and what this means for future coders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Martti sees AI <\/strong>as a partner, not a replacement<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cAI makes somebody\u2019s work more efficient \u2014 they can deliver more and build cool stuff faster. But it\u2019s a helper, not a replacer.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n
