This week, we have Selection Sprint running in three locations: J\u00f5hvi (Estonia), Nairobi (Kenya), and Zhytomyr (Ukraine).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-el\">With Selection Sprints (admissions tests) in full swing, a wave of fresh coding energy is sweeping across continents. Among them are future students preparing to join brand-new campuses in V\u00f5ru and Paide.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-el\">There\u2019s something special about this number too, 111 feels like a magic number, doesn\u2019t it?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-el\">The energy in J\u00f5hvi is sizzling (and not just because of the weather). From debugging their first lines of code to collaborating in teams, but also having fun. Morning yoga, volleyball tournament, and music quizzes are all part of the sprinters&#8217; experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/kood.tech\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/IMG_7659-1160x870.jpeg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-21933\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h3 style=\"--ama-heading-stencil-color: var(--ama-accent-color-2)\" class=\"wp-block-heading wp-el\">\ud83c\uddf0\ud83c\uddea Nairobi: 32 Sprinters take on coding<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-el\">All the way in Nairobi, 32 sprinters were selected from over 130+ applicants and the stats here are especially exciting:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list wp-el\">\n<li>Average age: 22<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Gender balance: 16 women and 16 men<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>One sprinter even traveled all the way from Uganda \ud83c\uddfa\ud83c\uddec<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-el\"><br>Everyone\u2019s loving the hands-on, collaborative learning style. Some had tried coding solo before \u2013 but say it\u2019s <em>way<\/em> easier and more motivating in a group like this<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1160\" height=\"773\" src=\"https:\/\/kood.tech\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/DSC08297-1160x773.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-21938\" srcset=\"https:\/\/kood.tech\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/DSC08297-1160x773.jpg 1160w, https:\/\/kood.tech\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/DSC08297-195x130.jpg 195w, https:\/\/kood.tech\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/DSC08297-60x40.jpg 60w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1160px) 100vw, 1160px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h3 style=\"--ama-heading-stencil-color: var(--ama-accent-color-3)\" class=\"wp-block-heading wp-el\">\ud83c\uddfa\ud83c\udde6 Zhytomyr: 32 Sprinters on their second week<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-el\">Meanwhile in Zhytomyr, 32 motivated sprinters are already deep into week 2 of their Sprint at the Zhytomyr Polytechnic State University campus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-el\">As part of the opening week, our Chief Product Officer <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/kaur-j%C3%A4rvp%C3%B5ld-77084b122\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Kaur J\u00e4rvp\u00f5ld<\/a> held a hands-on workshop with the new students \u2014 and left impressed by their curiosity and energy. Dozens of questions, eager learners. Peer-learning is already alive and well in Zhytomyr.<br><br>kood\/Zhytomyr brings our proven peer-learning and hybrid study approach to support Ukraine\u2019s digital transformation and vocational reform. The goal?
