So get set to explore the highlights of the day together! <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 style=\"--ama-heading-stencil-color: var(--ama-accent-color-1)\" class=\"wp-block-heading wp-el\" id=\"h-a-pathway-to-a-successful-tech-career\">A pathway to a successful tech career<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-el\">It\u2019s no secret that the tech landscape changes at a breakneck pace. kood\/JobFair, which was held on February 16th, provided the students and alumni with a chance to <strong>explore career prospects<\/strong>,<strong> gain industry insights<\/strong>, and <strong>make meaningful connections<\/strong> in this constantly changing digital scene. In addition, we equipped participants with the tools and knowledge that are necessary to navigate their professional journeys with <strong>confidence<\/strong> and Some students even received live feedback on their LinkedIn profile, CV, and cover letter during this session.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 style=\"--ama-heading-stencil-color: var(--ama-accent-color-2)\" class=\"wp-block-heading wp-el\" id=\"h-from-the-importance-of-soft-skills-to-ai\">From the importance of soft skills to AI<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-el\">This year, kood\/JobFair included two engaging panels, each offering useful advice for juniors who seek to enter the tech job market. The first panel &#8220;Tech Roles in Different Industries&#8221;, was moderated by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/kunnapas?miniProfileUrn=urn%3Ali%3Afs_miniProfile%3AACoAAAR6ajIBBrmQc6EKnAx8axaUha1tpK6Pg10&amp;lipi=urn%3Ali%3Apage%3Ad_flagship3_search_srp_all%3B5JKM29DeQbK56ezJ0zXFxQ%3D%3D\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Karin K\u00fcnnapas<\/strong><\/a>, our Head of School. Many thought-provoking topics were covered including the importance of networking events and communication skills in order to land the first internship or mentorship and how crucial it is to build confidence early on as a junior developer. One of the key takeaways from the panel was the debunking of the common misconception that tech is only about coding, which is far from the truth! A person doesn\u2019t have to be a coding genius or have a computer science degree to join the tech industry. The consensus among panelists was clear: AI won&#8217;t take over, those who understand how to harness its power will. Wow! So much covered in just 45 minutes!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 style=\"--ama-heading-stencil-color: var(--ama-accent-color-3)\" class=\"wp-block-heading wp-el\" id=\"h-the-adventures-of-kood-johvi-students-in-tech\">The adventures of kood\/J\u00f5hvi students in tech<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-el\">Under the moderation of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/jurimikk?miniProfileUrn=urn%3Ali%3Afs_miniProfile%3AACoAABWRuBABevCLws2qczzdfcXgZmJrVKugXHg&amp;lipi=urn%3Ali%3Apage%3Ad_flagship3_search_srp_all%3BqEtE3aCsTQmHTjseNxS1KQ%3D%3D\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>J\u00fcri-Mikk Udam<\/strong><\/a>, Product Manager at kood\/J\u00f5hvi, the second panel discussion showcased the experience of kood\/J\u00f5hvi students who have successfully transitioned into the tech industry. The feedback I got from company representatives, revealed many common themes. It helps me stand out among the other applicants. It&#8217;s incredibly empowering to get insights straight from the employers on key skills they\u2019re searching for.
