Welcome to Paide!

kood/Järva brings a new type of coding education to Central Estonia. Launching already in the fall of 2025! Stay tuned.

The aim of the project is to establish a branch of the kood/Jõhvi programming school in the city of Paide — kood/Järva — along with a network that promotes entrepreneurship.

kood/Järva helps reduce the shortage of software developers in the Estonian labor market and offers diverse opportunities for further education and retraining. It is a one-year study program, upon completion of which the graduate becomes a full-stack developer.

Anyone aged 18 or older, with at least basic education and intermediate English skills, can apply to the school.

The school’s goal is to alleviate the shortage of software developers in Estonia and provide diverse opportunities for continuing and requalification education. The objective and result of this expansion is to increase the county’s competitiveness, create new local opportunities for upskilling and retraining, and contribute to the growth of entrepreneurship.

During the project, the necessary learning spaces will be set up, and the conditions for the school’s operations will be created.

he project is being carried out in cooperation between the SA Järvamaa, MTÜ Tuleviku Tehnoloogiaharidus, Türi Municipality, Järva Municipality and the City of Paide.

The kood/Järva learning spaces will be located in a building on Paide’s central square, at Keskväljak 15, on the 3rd floor.

The building was completed in 1967 and is an important part of the city’s history and development. In the past, the building, which belonged to the Järva Consumers’ Cooperative, housed the Paide department store, Paide restaurant, and cafeteria. For decades, this centrally located building played a significant role in the life of the local community.

In 2021, however, the Järva Consumers’ Cooperative donated the building to the Järvamaa Foundation. The foundation operates as a regional development center and plans to establish a Central Estonian cooperation and innovation center in the building.
