In order to apply, you need to be open-minded, motivated, and ready to commit to a 12-month study programme. You must be at least 18 and have completed basic education (e.g. 9 grades in Estonia).

Selection Sprint results are announced 2-3 weeks after the completion of the Selection Sprint.

Who can apply?

  • You have to be at least 18 years old.
  • Resident or have a permit to live in Estonia.
  • If you do not have a residence permit in Estonia but would still like to study at kood/Jõhvi, you can attend the Sprint with a visa and continue your studies remotely, with occasional visits for events.
  • No previous knowledge of coding is needed.

What is the Online Test?

The Online Test is a game designed to assess your logical thinking skills. No preparation is required, but ensure you can dedicate up to one uninterrupted hour and have a stable internet connection. Once started, the test cannot be paused and must be completed in one go.

Recommendations:

  • For your convenience, we recommend using a computer with a keyboard.
  • Ensure you can concentrate fully on the test for the entire hour.
  • Don’t give up! The test intentionally lacks instructions to challenge your problem-solving abilities.
  • Take your time to think through each task thoroughly.

Results

  • You will receive your results immediately via the platform.
  • If you pass the test, the platform will promptly inform you of the next steps.

What is the Selection Sprint?

After successfully passing the Online Test, you can reserve your spot in the next Selection Sprint.

The Selection Sprint is a three-week, full-time test period for candidates, consisting of two weeks on-site followed by one week remotely.

The learning process begins with covering various topics on our platform. Each week concludes with an exam that tests the knowledge you’ve acquired that week. During the weekends, there will be group tasks designed to reinforce the learning outcomes from the previous week.

Being accepted into the Selection Sprint prepares you for what might be the most intense yet rewarding three weeks of your life. You’ll make new friends, learn a great deal, and achieve more than you ever thought possible!
