An evening with our partners
We hosted an evening at Krulli kvartal for all our supporters to express our gratitude, inspire them, and showcase what we have accomplished since our last meeting, which was a year ago.

Our alumni and students took the stage to present their projects from the Defence AI Hackathon – a shoutout to Ekke Tristan Uibo, Iryna Velychko, and Fred Kaur! Always good to see and hear what is being built by the community.
And, of course, lots of numbers and new initiatives, but also a glimpse into today’s tech trends. OSKA research indicates that we will need 1,5x more developers in 2027 than in 2020; however, the number of students admitted to ICT programs at universities has been decreasing.
There is also a worry that AI will take jobs away. What we have seen and heard from the industry experts is that, currently, AI is a useful tool, but it won’t make you a better coder if you don’t understand what the answers mean. Our CEO Lauri Haav likes to give an example of a racing car.
You most likely can drive a car. But if you are given Ott Tänak’s WRC car, you probably will be a little bit faster, but you won’t be as fast and as good as him. You need to know your craft to be great in your field.
That’s why the future of technology still depends on people – creative problem solvers, skilled and curious minds who can push the boundaries further.
Special shoutout to our new supporters, Ines Karu-Salo and Martin Salo – welcome aboard!
A huge thank you to Skaala, Swedbank, Wise, Kaamos, LHV, SEB, Barrus, SA Võrumaa Arenduskeskus, SA Järvamaa, ESTDEV, and to all the rest of the supporters who make this journey possible ❤️
