kood/Jõhvi is a modern top-tier international programming school designed for adults of all ages seeking opportunities for learning, self-development, upskilling, or career change.
The school offers a 12-month, full-time programme available on-site in Jõhvi, Estonia or remotely. Throughout the programme, students learn Java and JavaScript programming languages and choose a speciality for in-depth study. Options include generative artificial intelligence, machine learning operations, mobile app development, DevOps, and cybersecurity.
Our mission is to effectively address the software developers shortage and make IT education accessible to everyone interested.

The school is based in Jõhvi, Ida-Virumaa, and we strongly believe it’s a contribution to the community.
It will increase the region’s economic competitiveness, create new opportunities for locals, and boost the diversity of technical and entrepreneurial skills.
kood/Jõhvi creates a strong base for further studies at universities and working at technology companies.
The school operates on a cloud-based learning platform, where each student moves at their own pace, solving the tasks set by the system, linking theory to practice. There’s no tuition fee for the students.
Jõhvi was chosen as the location in accordance with the Estonian regional development plan. The establishment of an educational institution directly contributes to the education objective H1 of the Ida-Virumaa County Development Strategy, which provides a comprehensive education in Ida-Viru County by 2030+, ensuring students at least three language skills, strong digital competencies and an entrepreneurial attitude.
