kood/Jõhvi Cybersecurity Hackathon

Cybersecurity Hackathon

We invite you to participate in the kood/Jõhvi Cybersecurity Hackathon

When: April 21-23, 2023

Where: kood/Jõhvi’s School Building in Jõhvi (2 Tartu Põik 5, Jõhvi, Estonia)

That’s right – we’re hosting a hackathon!

Join the Cybersecurity Hackathon, hosted by kood/Jõhvi and Startup Estonia from April 21-23, 2023, to develop innovative solutions to today’s most pressing cybersecurity issues.

Why are we doing this?

As the world becomes increasingly digital, cyber attacks are on the rise. In fact, cybercrime is predicted to cost the world $10.5 trillion annually by 2025, up from $3 trillion in 2015.

Cybercrime is a type of crime that involves using technology to commit illegal activities. This can include things like hacking into computer systems, stealing personal information or financial data, spreading viruses or malware, and using the internet to engage in fraud or scams. Cybercrime can have serious consequences and can impact individuals, businesses, and even entire countries.

Hackathon?

Yes! A hackathon is an event where people come together to solve problems through collaborative, hands-on work. It usually lasts for a set period of time, often 48 hours.

Participants work in teams to come up with innovative solutions to a specific challenge or set of challenges. The goal is to develop working prototypes or solutions by the end of the event.
